Bottom Fishing
Our most popular trip, travel into deep Gulf waters to drop weighted lines around natural and artificial reefs that serve as proven fish habitat. Types of “reef fish” targeted during bottom fishing include Amberjack, Snapper, Grouper, Amberine, Triggerfish, etc. A minimum of 6 hours required for Bottom Fishing. We recommend a full day for the most productive bottom fishing.
Offshore Trolling
Taking place in deep sea settings, offshore trolling consists of using a mix of downriggers, outriggers, and sturdy rods to drag lures and bait at various depths simultaneously. On longer trips, Offshore Trolling can be coupled with some Bottom Fishing. Types of fish targeted during Offshore Trolling include Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Tuna, Sailfish, Barracuda, etc. A full day is required for Offshore Trolling.
Inshore Trolling
Ideal for half day charters and the younger members of the family, Inshore Trolling uses lighter tackle to drag bait and lures to attract a variety of fish. Types of fish targeted during Inshore Trolling are King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Bonita, Jack Crevalle, etc. Taking place in nearshore waters along side our beautiful coast, a minimum of 4 hours is normally required.
Cobia Sightfishing
A Springtime tradition in Destin, Cobia fishing occurs from mid March thru early May during their annual migration through Northwest Florida. Cobia fishing is an exciting team sport requiring all onboard to have a specified role from spotting to landing the fish. The expert crew man the tower to spot and hook the Cobia, then anglers on deck are handed the rod to contest and land the strong and fiesty fish. Be ready for a real fight.
Extended Voyage
An extended voyage is designed for those in search of “Big Game” trophy fish. Requiring a minimum of 18 hours, you often depart at night headed to your “hunting grounds.” Don’t worry, we have enough bunks onboard for all to get a little shut-eye before the action begins. You will wake up to experience the “first bite” of the day. Targeted fish include Marlin, Sailfish, Swordfish, Tuna, Wahoo, etc.
